How it Works
Emily designs the books. After your free consultation, she will create a book that will be as unique as the family it honors, making sure the end result is exactly what you’re envisioning. If your book is to be made from things in that old box in the attic you’ve been meaning to get to for years, she’d be happy to sort through it for you.
Emily is also available to edit stories that need some brushing up before going into the book. Click STORY EDITING for a Vietnam vet’s story that went through this process.
Tim can provide watercolor and pen & ink illustrations. Drawing ever since he could hold a pencil (much of his childhood was spent doodling in the margins of his notebook instead of listening to the teacher), he knows intuitively how to capture a story’s mood and style. His sly sense of humor makes a funny tale even funnier.

PRICES
$100 deposit
Book design: $6 per 5.5 x 8.5 page; $9 per 8.5 x 11 page (other sizes also available)
Optional services
Illustrations: $35 each
Story editing: 3¢ per word
Transcribing written or audio stories: you’ll be given an estimate up front
Sorting through that old box – or boxes – in the attic: you’ll be given an estimate up front
